Alex Castillo

Alex Castillo has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in leadership positions. Alex most recently worked at Harris Computer as the Senior Director of Cloud and Operations, where they were responsible for managing and growing teams, increasing customer satisfaction, and establishing KPIs. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Cloud and Operations and Director of DevOps and Product Delivery at the same company.

Before joining Harris Computer, Alex worked at autoTRADER.ca as the Director of Portfolio Delivery, leading the adoption of Agile practices and boosting productivity. Alex also worked as a Sr. Project Manager (Consultant) at Skyvera, successfully managing multiple projects and distributed teams.

Earlier in their career, Alex held leadership positions at Cayenta, where they served as the Director of R&D, and Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services, where they worked as the Manager of Application Development. Alex also worked as the Manager of IT Business Solutions at Ritchie Bros. and Autostock International, and as a Software Engineer/Technical Project Manager at Schering Plough. Alex'scareer began at ConsuPharma S.A. de C.V., where they served as the Manager of Application Development and Operations, introducing process improvements and managing a cross-functional team.

Throughout their career, Alex has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead teams, implement Agile practices, and improve customer satisfaction. Alex has experience in project management, software development, and implementing process improvements.

Alex Castillo's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1997. In addition, they have obtained various certifications and completed courses in fields such as Kanban, Google Analytics, MongoDB, Cloud Architecture, ITIL, Scrum, Project Management, and Executive General Management. Alex also holds a diploma in Programming from Herzing Institute and a diploma in Information Technology AS/400 from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Alex Castillo has further expanded their knowledge through additional certifications, including Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Azure Fundamentals.
