Dean Bratland

Dean Bratland has extensive work experience in the field of technology and infrastructure. Dean currently serves as the Director of Technology at Harris Computer, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Harris Computer as the Manager of Infrastructure from April 2016 to October 2021, and as the IT Infrastructure Team Lead from April 2012 to April 2016.

Before joining Harris Computer, Dean held the position of IT Infrastructure Team Lead at Cognera from December 2009 to April 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the overall management and strategic planning of Cognera's information infrastructure.

Dean also has experience as an Infrastructure Coordination Contractor, where they implemented a Robotic Logistics System for Printing Press Distribution Automation and warehouse automation. Dean worked with ABB and Gammerler, based in Switzerland and Germany respectively, to coordinate the implementation.

Earlier in their career, Dean worked at TC Transcontinental Printing as a Network Administrator from June 2006 to March 2009, and as an IS Technical Support Jr from July 2005 to June 2006.

Overall, Dean Bratland has held various technology and infrastructure roles throughout their career, demonstrating their expertise in managing and overseeing infrastructure operations and strategic planning.

Dean Bratland attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Computer Engineering Technology. Dean then continued their education at SAIT from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Applied Information Systems Technology with a focus on Network Management.
