Scott Marden has a diverse work history that demonstrates their experience in technology management and development roles. Scott began their career as a Full-stack Developer at Team Rubicon, where they played a key role in the organization's Digital Transformation and laid the foundation for the growing tech team. Scott then moved up to become the Manager of Platforms and Analytics, responsible for managing a team of developers, engineers, and analysts and implementing Agile frameworks for development cycles. As a Senior Technology Manager, they collaborated with senior leadership and supported the organization during the transition to a remote environment. In their most recent role as Deputy Director of Technology, Scott worked closely with the CIO and other managers to develop and implement the technology roadmap. Scott also coordinated with software partners to rethink licensing models based on non-profit needs and use cases. Prior to their time at Team Rubicon, Scott gained valuable coding experience as a Developer in Residence at Coding Dojo, where they completed a Full Stack Web Development training program. Scott has also held positions in fundraising and event management at UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies and served as the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the Will Play for Food Theatre Group.
