Executive Vice President - Cogsdale at Harris Computer

Kate Atkinson, MBA has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. From 2020 to the present, they have been serving as Executive Vice President at Harris Computer, specifically in the Cogsdale division. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Operations at Globys, Systems and Software (S&S), and Cayenta from 2017 to 2023. In 2019, they briefly served as General Manager at Properly, where they were responsible for building the prop-tech's brokerage business in Ottawa. Kate also had a "gap year" from 2018 to 2019 before joining Properly. In 2008, they joined Just Energy and held several senior positions, including Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager, Vice President of Finance, Treasury, and Investor Relations, Vice President of Operations at National Home Services, Director of Commercial Operations and Client Services at Hudson Energy, and Manager of Power Desk. Before this, they began their career with Brookfield Renewable Power as a Real-Time and Short-Term Trader from 2001 to 2008. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills.

Kate Atkinson, MBA received their Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Corporate Finance from Carleton University. Kate then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Jack Welch Management Institute, completing it between the years 2020 and 2023. In addition to their degrees, they obtained various certifications such as the Foresee Leadership Program from Harris Computer in 2023, the Corporate Executive Board, Finance Leadership Council from Gartner in 2017, The Science of Emotional Intelligence from The Institute for Health and Human Potential (IHHP) in 2014, and the CSC - Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in 2001.
