Junha Lee

Junha Lee is a dedicated percussion and drum instructor at Texas School of Music since December 2022, while also serving as a student volunteer at Memorial Hermann Health System and a reserve medic with Harris County Emergency Corps. Lee has experience as an energy market researcher at E1 Corporation and as a research assistant at Rice University, focused on wastewater runoff impacts on wetlands. Previous roles include a research intern at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where system-level barriers in cancer treatment were analyzed, and another internship at Oregon Health & Science University studying pancreatic cancer progression. Lee has demonstrated leadership as co-founder of the Camas Community Math Advancement Program and founder of the Youth Scholars Project, both aimed at enhancing STEM education. Lee's educational background includes ongoing studies in Pre-Medicine at Rice University and achieving valedictorian honors at Camas High School.
