Tom Hargis

Tom Hargis currently serves as the Director of Grants & Partnerships at the Harris County Office of County Administration, focusing on maximizing funding opportunities and managing a significant investment portfolio from the American Rescue Plan Act. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Foundations & Individual Giving at myAgro and a long tenure at the ACLU of Texas, where Hargis held multiple leadership roles including Chief Strategy Officer, resulting in substantial revenue growth and increased organizational size. Earlier career achievements include significant roles in communications and development at Texas A&M University, Northwestern University, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana, where fundraising initiatives greatly exceeded previous results.
