Traci Buttram

Traci Buttram serves as the Manager of Operations and Deputy Chief of Staff at the Harris County Office of County Administration since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Communications Specialist Consultant for Harris County and Chief of Staff for City of Houston Council Member David W. Robinson, where Traci provided strategic support on critical city initiatives and managed the Transportation, Technology, and Infrastructure Committee. Additionally, Traci held the position of Chief of Staff for Mayor Pro Tem Ellen Cohen, implementing programs such as paid family leave and advising on significant public policy issues. Traci's early career involved various roles including Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for the Ellen Cohen Campaign, as well as internships with State Representatives Jessica Farrar and Ellen Cohen. Traci holds a BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Houston and attended Annie's List Campaign School.
