Taylor Brooks

Taylor Brooks is an experienced professional in the field of dance and recreation management, currently serving as Recreation Service Manager at Harris County Precinct 2 since October 2019. Taylor has held multiple roles at the precinct, including Community Center Manager, Health and Wellness Coordinator, and Dance Program Director, where the initiation of the county's first all-inclusive dance program led to significant enrollment success. Taylor has also worked as a Dance Instructor at Dancescape By Joyce and Twin Arts Dance Studio, choreographing award-winning routines for children and managing various administrative tasks. Previous experience includes roles as Choreographer for TIFI Deer Park Starlights and Dance Instructor at Vic Copinger YMCA, showcasing a remarkable record in competitive dance. Taylor's early career involved contributions at Priscilla Pond Flawn Child & Family Laboratory and engagement with the American Medical Student Association. Taylor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from San Jacinto College.
