J.R. Toner has over 35 years of experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff at the Harris County Sheriff's Office since July 1988, with additional responsibilities as a Sr. Deputy, Technical Investigator, and sUAS (Drone) Pilot. Additionally, J.R. Toner has been an Agency Instructor at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) since June 2023. J.R. Toner holds 46 hours of study in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Moraine Valley Community College.
