Amar Mohite currently serves as the Deputy Director of Capital Planning at the Harris County Toll Road Authority since July 2023. Prior to this role, Amar was the Director of Planning and Infrastructure at Harris County Precinct One from July 2017 to July 2023, where numerous projects were initiated. Amar's earlier experience includes various positions at the City of Houston, including Division Manager and Administration Manager in the Transportation Planning Group, and roles as a Transportation Analyst and City Planner, beginning in 2002. Amar holds a Master of Urban Planning from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Sardar Patel University.
