Brian P. Alcott

Brian P. Alcott, P.E. serves as the Assistant Director at the Harris County Toll Road Authority since May 2021, focusing on all phases of project delivery and facilitating key partnering agreements with TxDOT for significant interchange projects. Additionally, Brian oversees Engineering and Construction in the role of Interim Deputy Director and has been involved with the Houston-Galveston Area Council as an Assistant Director since March 2023, serving as RTP Chair and member of the Transportation Advisory Committee. Previously, Brian held various leadership positions at the City of Houston, including Managing Engineer and Acting Senior Assistant Director, and gained extensive experience as a Senior Bridge Engineer at Michael Baker Corporation and a Bridge Engineer at HNTB and the Texas Department of Transportation. Brian holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lamar University.
