Raul Balbuena

Raul Balbuena has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Raul started their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Bilingual Phone Banker at Wells Fargo and later transitioned to PlainsCapital Bank, where they served as a Teller and Assistant Teller Supervisor. In 2015, they joined FirstCapital Bank of Texas as an Interactive Teller. Raul then moved to TDECU in 2016, working as a Service Champion (Teller). Raul gained experience in auditing roles at Whitley Penn, starting as an Audit Intern in 2017 and progressing to Audit Staff and eventually Audit Senior. Raul then worked as a Senior Audit Associate at BKD CPAs & Advisors from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Accountant at Harris County Toll Road Authority.

Raul Balbuena's education history begins in 2009 when they attended Texas Tech University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in University Studies. Raul completed this program in 2014. Afterward, from 2014 to 2015, they enrolled in the Texas Tech University - Rawls College of Business to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specifically in Accounting.

In 2016, Balbuena transitioned to the University of Houston-Clear Lake to pursue a Master of Science degree in Accounting, which they completed in 2017.
