Kimberly Ferran

Kimberly Ferran is a dedicated science educator with extensive experience in environmental science and marine biology. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Harris Federation since September 2018, Kimberly also contributes as a volunteer and Litter Coordinator with the Thames Estuary Partnership, focusing on projects aimed at reducing litter impact on waterways. As a Ph.D. candidate at Florida Atlantic University, Kimberly specializes in Geosciences, particularly in Coastal Zone Management using GIS technologies. Past roles include positions as a Water Quality Technician at Watershed Solutions, an Administrative Assistant at the Caribbean Coral Reef Institute, and various research technician roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental research and education. Kimberly holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences, a Master's degree in Oceanography and Coastal Zone Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology.
