Alexandru Dumitru

Alexandru Dumitru is an experienced technical manager currently leading the technical recruitment operation at Harris Pye Engineering Group since September 2017. Prior to this role, Alexandru served as an offshore program manager at Consorzio IDC, where significant achievements included the successful installation of a retrofit hybrid dual water scrubber system. Alexandru's background also includes a position as project superintendent at Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding, focusing on the integration of hull structures and equipment installation for the Baynunah project. Additionally, Alexandru worked as a project manager at Oman Drydock Company, overseeing ship repair programming and production scheduling. Alexandru's career began with consultancy as a freelancer for TTS Marine AS, providing quality control and equipment installation services across multiple countries. Alexandru holds a diploma in welding technology from Constanta "Ovidius" University.
