At National Oilwell Varco, they served as the Director of Global Strategy from January 2016 to December 2016 and as the Director of Finance - Special Projects from January 2014 to January 2016. At Deloitte, they worked as a Senior Consultant from January 2011 to July 2012, as a Consultant from July 2009 to December 2010, and as a Business Analyst from January 2008 to June 2009. Samer Abou Khalil has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD, which was completed between 2012 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Samer's earlier education includes their completion of the Lebanese National Baccalaureate II with a focus on General Sciences at the Secondary Evangelical School, where they studied from 1987 to 2002.
