Eric McAnelly is an experienced professional with a diverse background. Eric began their career as a Research Analyst at Altegrity Risk International (ARI) in 2010. Afterward, Eric joined the US Navy in 2011, serving as an Intelligence Officer. Eric spent a significant portion of their career in the navy, leaving in 2023. During this time, they developed strong leadership and analytical skills. In 2021, Eric worked as a Defense Ventures Fellow at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and as a Research Analyst at Mindshift Capital in 2018. In 2022, they participated in the Veterans Integration Program (VIP) at Goldman Sachs and briefly worked as an SBIR Commercialization Evaluator at AFWERX. Eric's most recent position is as an Investment Banking Associate at Harris Williams, where they started in July 2023. Eric McAnelly completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University in 2011. Additionally, Eric participated in the Defense Ventures Program at Shift and is expected to complete the program in 2021. Eric has also obtained certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2023 and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) from FINRA in January 2023.
