Douglas Tyson is an experienced consultant and educator with a focus on mathematics and statistics. Currently serving as a consultant for various clients since January 2018, Douglas provides subject matter expertise and consulting services, particularly in developing educational materials. With a long-standing role as a Mathematics and Statistics Instructor at Central York School District since August 1997, Douglas additionally contributes as an adjunct professor at Wilkes University and HACC. Douglas has extensive freelance technical writing experience with BFW Publishers and John Wiley and Sons and holds a position as an AP Statistics Reader with Educational Testing Service since 2010. Douglas's involvement in educational organizations includes consulting roles with NMSI and KSTC, as well as membership in the NCTM Joint Committee on Curriculum in Statistics and Probability in 2016. Douglas earned a Master's degree in Mathematics from Millersville University of Pennsylvania between 1996 and 2001.
