About Your Role

As a Grant Writer at Annalise.ai, you will play a pivotal role in securing funding to support Annalise.aiā€™s research, product development, and clinical validation initiatives. This position will be responsible for identifying relevant grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and ensuring compliance with submission guidelines. To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of successful grant writing within the healthcare, technology, or medical device sectors and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical research, commercial, and product development.Ā Ā 

What you'll do:

  • Grant Research & Identification:

  • Research and identify government, private, and industry grant opportunities aligned with Annalise.aiā€™s strategic objectives.

  • Maintain a calendar of grant submission deadlines and reporting requirements.

  • Proposal Development:

  • Write and develop persuasive, high-quality grant proposals, tailoring content to the specific requirements of each funding source.

  • Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary data, financials, and technical information to strengthen proposals.

  • Ensure that proposals align with Annalise.aiā€™s scientific, clinical, and technological expertise in AI and radiology.

  • Submission Management:

  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and supporting documents.

  • Manage post-submission follow-ups, including revisions, additional documentation requests, and reporting.

  • Grant Reporting:

  • Oversee and prepare reports for funders, ensuring compliance with their requirements, including financial and programmatic reporting.

  • Track grant outcomes and liaise with internal teams to monitor the impact of funded projects.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with clinical research, regulatory affairs, and product development teams to understand project goals and requirements.

  • Build and maintain relationships with funders and potential partners.

  • Communicate complex scientific and technical concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

  • Conduct or assist with manuscript submissions and conference abstracts as required

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelorā€™s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, public health, communications, business),
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in grant writing, preferably within healthcare, medical device, AI, or related industries,
  • Strong understanding of clinical research and regulatory processes, particularly in the medical device or radiology fields,
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail,
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively, and
  • Familiarity with relevant grant databases and submission platforms (e.g., NIH, SBIR, European Commission).

Nice to have skills (but not essential):

  • Knowledge of AI technologies in healthcare, especially in radiology.
  • Previous experience securing grants for medical devices or AI-driven innovations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle complex, multi-faceted projects.
