Matthew Geleta

Matthew Geleta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Matthew currently serves as the Head of Operations at harrison.ai and as a Mentor at Techstars. In addition, they are a Mentor, Coach, and First Believer at Startmate, and a Board Advisor and Venture Consultant at various companies. Matthew also founded and hosts the Paradigm podcast. Previously, they worked as the Chief of Staff and UK Launcher at Bare, a Management Consultant at Bain & Company, and as a Co-Founder at HURR Collective.

Matthew Geleta has a strong educational background in mathematics and physics. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Melbourne, and also completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) at The Australian National University, specializing in the same field. Additionally, they have pursued further studies at prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing, and the University of Cambridge, where they have deferred their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics of Information.

In terms of additional certifications, Matthew has a wide range of qualifications in data science and finance. Matthew has completed courses such as "Data Manipulation with Pandas," "Introduction to Data Visualization with Matplotlib," "Using Databases with Python," and more, from institutions like DataCamp and Coursera. Matthew also holds certifications in areas such as Decentralized Finance Infrastructure from Duke University and Introduction to Portfolio Construction and Analysis with Python from EDHEC Business School.
