Ryan Kelly

Ryan Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan currently works at harrison.ai as the Head of Software Engineering, where they have held roles such as Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, Ryan was associated with Mozilla for several years, serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. During their tenure at Mozilla, they played a crucial role in the development and launch of projects like Firefox Accounts and the creation of a shared client SDK for storage and syncing of browser data. Ryan also co-founded Cloud Matrix Pty Ltd, where they served as the Director and Lead Developer, working on the development of SaltDrive, an encrypted cloud-enabled USB stick. Additionally, they have worked as a freelance Software Developer and Software Consultant, undertaking Python-based desktop and online applications. Ryan also has experience in academia, having worked as a Tutor at the University of Melbourne and as IT Manager at Whitley College. Ryan began their career as a Software Developer at Agilent Technologies during their undergraduate scholarship with the University of Melbourne. Ryan Kelly completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne in 2005. Ryan then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed in 2008.
