Sondra Vela

Sondra Vela is a financial professional with extensive experience in educational finance. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at D2 Harrison Schools since March 2024, Sondra previously held the position of Grants Fiscal Analyst at the Colorado Department of Education from August 2022 to March 2024. Prior to that, Sondra worked for Colorado Springs School District 11 for six years as a Senior Financial Budget Analyst and Grants Business Manager. Sondra's earlier career includes a range of roles at Pikes Peak State College, such as Grant Accountant and various accounts receivable and payable positions. Sondra earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Regis University between 2011 and 2013.
