Ian Braverman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and auditing. Currently serving as Vice President of Portfolio Management at Harrison Street since June 2015, Ian has advanced through various roles, overseeing fund financial performance, investment strategies, and capital event assessments. Prior to this, Ian worked at KPMG, where responsibilities included leading audit engagements for real estate investments, conducting substantive testwork, and assisting in valuations. Ian began a career in finance as a Global Audit Intern at KPMG, gaining international experience in South Africa. An educational background includes a Master of Accounting Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, both from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
