Marshall Dougherty is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Harrison, Walker & Harper. Prior to this, they served as the Defense Coordinating Officer (Director of Emergency Management) for the United States Department of Defense from August 2014 to November 2017. In this role, they were responsible for planning, coordinating and integrating the Department of Defense's Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) and Homeland Defense programs with local, tribal, state and federal agencies within FEMA Region VII (Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa). Marshall also led a team of 45 high level executive leaders from the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force, ensuring that they were trained and prepared to deploy in response to both natural and man-made disasters. Prior to their time with the Department of Defense, Dougherty served as the Chief of Staff for the 2nd Infantry Division of the US Army from June 2012 to July 2014.
Marshall Dougherty reports to Jordan Harper, CEO. They are on a team with Paula White - Director of HR, Joe Francis - Operations Manager, and Mark Murphy - VP of Program Management.
