Phil Birch

Phil Birch currently serves as the Business Resilience & Continuity Manager at Harrods since November 2023 and holds the position of Non-Executive Director at St Clare Hospice since February 2018. Prior to these roles, Phil Birch spent nearly 40 years at Wilko, where responsibilities evolved from Senior Store Management roles to Senior Internal Audit, Resilience and Risk Manager. In this capacity, Phil Birch led the Internal Audit, Risk, and Resilience departments and offered critical advisory support to the Board during a challenging financial period. Significant achievements include the development of business resilience strategies and the implementation of compliance policies across multiple regions, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
