Peter Cairns

Peter Cairns has extensive experience in operations and sales management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Midlands Areas Sales Manager and Production Manager at Hart Door Systems Limited since April 2005, Peter has successfully ensured timely delivery of high-quality doors in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Prior to this role, Peter was the National Operations Manager at thyssenkrupp from 1993 to 2005. Peter began a career in engineering as an apprentice at Wadkin Machine Tools from 1972 to 1993, where a significant achievement as 'Apprentice of the Year' led to progressive promotions, culminating in the position of General Manager Works, overseeing the manufacturing of woodwork machinery for over 440 employees.
