Matthew Rowland

Matthew Rowland has a diverse work experience in the design and arts industry. Matthew started their career as a Counselor at Camp Adventure Youth Services in 2003. Matthew then worked as a Web Designer at ITS Educational Technology from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they joined the Hearst Center for the Arts as a Designer/Instructor from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they became a Designer at NORTH, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Senior Designer at Madhouse. In 2012, they joined AIGA Toledo, where they held various leadership positions including Chapter President and Vice President. In 2012, they also became a Member of the Board at Art in Public Places at The Arts Commission. Most recently, they have been working at Hart Associates, where they started as a Senior Designer in 2015 and later progressed to the roles of Art Director and Senior Art Director.

Matthew Rowland attended Prairie High School from 1998 to 2001. After high school, they enrolled at the University of Northern Iowa and studied Graphic Design from 2001 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the field.
