Simon Miles

Simon Miles is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Security Consultant since January 2016, Simon also holds the position of Close Protection Instructor and Lead Instructor HECPO at Horizon since July 2019. Throughout the career, Simon has been involved in various roles including Team Leader for an undisclosed client and Deputy Training Manager at Hart Integrated Solutions, where responsibilities included the creation and delivery of training programs for security personnel. Previous roles include Maritime Security Team Leader at Unity SPS and Security Manager/Training Supervisor in the British Army, where Simon managed security for a military unit of over 8000 members and provided close protection at the British Embassy in Kabul. Simon's education includes advanced qualifications in Aviation Security at the Level 3 standard.
