Nicholas Jones

Nicholas Jones has a diverse work experience in software development and vehicle maintenance. Nicholas began their career as a Junior Web Developer at Sam Houston State University, where they gained proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nicholas then worked as a Software Test Automation Developer Intern at Insperity, where they developed automated test scripts using C# and worked with test automation tools such as Ranorex and Selenium.

Nicholas later worked as a Software Freelancer on Upwork, specializing in web application development using Django and Python. Nicholas then joined Phase 2 as a Software Engineer, where they led the design and implementation of secure user authentication and authorization processes using Azure B2C and Azure AD. Nicholas also developed secure front-end features using TypeScript and NextJS.

In their most recent role at BRIDGE HOSPICE, L.L.C., Nicholas worked as a Software Consultant and Front-End Developer. Nicholas designed and developed customer-focused applications, including a .NET Core API/React JS application.

Before their software career, Nicholas served in the US Army as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. Nicholas gained extensive experience in vehicle maintenance, conducting services and repairs on over 100 vehicles. Nicholas also played a crucial role in logistics, ensuring proper parts ordering and installation.

Nicholas is currently working as a Build Engineer at Hart InterCivic.

Nicholas Jones completed their education in a chronological order, starting in 2012. In that year, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic from Army Ordnance School, Ft. Lee, VA. Nicholas then went on to pursue an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from Blinn College, which they successfully completed between 2015 and 2017. After that, Nicholas Jones enrolled at Sam Houston State University, where they gained a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science and Information Security from 2017 to 2020.
