Mike Stein

Mike Stein is a self-described “TV Nerd”, who joined Hartbeat in 2020 and currently heads the Television and Audio divisions. In TV, he has sold and produced shows across broadcast, cable, and streaming; including Netflix’s True Story, BET’s revival of Real Husbands of Hollywood, and E!’s Celebrity Game Face. In audio, Mike oversees Hartbeat’s audio efforts through concurrent deals with SiriusXM and Audible.

Prior to joining Hartbeat, Mike was an executive at Davis Entertainment, where, among other projects, he produced Alex, Inc, the first television series to be based on a podcast (Gimlet Media’s “StartUp”).

Mike is a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and received a Master’s degree from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television.
