Nicole Kershaw is the current Chief Business Development Officer at Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP. Nicole has been with the company since November of 2014, starting as the Director of Business Development. In their current role, Nicole is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the firm's client base and market share.

Prior to joining Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP, Nicole was with Stoel Rives LLP for two years, where they served as the Senior Manager of Client Relations. In this role, Nicole was responsible for managing key client relationships and consulting on communications, marketing, and business development strategies for Stoel Rives' two offices, which totaled over 400 attorneys. Nicole also supervised a business development staff and maintained Stoel Rives' CRM system.

During their time at Stoel Rives LLP, Nicole was able to successfully overhaul the company's entire business development and marketing function. This included working across the organization to create strategic plans with each practice group and generate realistic and actionable business development tactics. Nicole also developed and administered a $1M marketing and business development budget in order to establish clarity on expenses and drive higher ROI marketing spend. Furthermore, Nicole was able to build a marketing-focused culture across the firm by training internal staff to generate organic upsell opportunities.

In addition to their work at Stoel Rives LLP, Nicole has also been tapped to serve as Interim Business Development Director on multiple occasions. In

Nicole Kershaw has a Master of Professional Communication from Westminster College and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Brigham Young University.
