Charlie Rettey

Charlie Rettey has a work experience that includes roles at Hartfiel Automation and Rosenboom Machine & Tool. At Hartfiel Automation, Charlie worked as an Outside Sales Engineer, managing engineering projects for OEM manufacturers in the on/off highway mobile industry. Charlie utilized product and market knowledge to sell customers on the value of the solutions provided and collaborated with application and controls engineering groups to create tailored solutions. Charlie also worked as an Inside Application Specialist at Hartfiel Automation, where they processed quotes, purchase orders, and returns for manufacturers in Central Iowa. Charlie collaborated with engineering to create cost-saving solutions for OEM manufacturers and negotiated with vendors for quantity pricing. At Rosenboom Machine & Tool, Charlie worked as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. Charlie consulted management in a case study on the cost efficiency of purchasing new robots for the factory and drafted a physical plant layout using AutoCAD to increase product production and efficiency. Charlie also designed a plant layout to create spaghetti diagrams and enhance plant efficiency.

Charlie Rettey began their education in 2012 at Iowa Western Community College, where they pursued a degree in General Studies. After completing their associate's degree in 2013, Charlie enrolled at Iowa State University. From 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Technology and Agricultural System Technology.
