Rodrigo Balmaceda

Rodrigo Balmaceda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Starting in 2016, they worked as a Project Management Intern at Shipcom Wireless, where they administered budgets for multiple ongoing projects and demonstrated their adaptability by quickly advancing to the position of Project Manager.

In 2017, Rodrigo took on the role of Translator at The University of Texas at Dallas.

In 2018, they gained experience as a Sales Engineering Intern at AESA Center S.A de C.V, where they improved the performance of The Muncher, a machine that eliminates organic waste, and developed a cost calculation Excel sheet for the solar energy division, leading to a cost reduction of up to 40%. Rodrigo also worked as a Software Testing Intern at VORTECH, making significant contributions to the resolution of app crashes and improving the efficiency of Lady Multitask application.

In 2019, Rodrigo joined Halliburton as an Engineering Team Leader/Senior Design, where they engineered an automated manufacturing process for an internal pipe component, minimizing operator's risk by reducing their exposure time to extreme heat by 100%. Rodrigo also demonstrated effective communication and leadership skills as the liaison between clients, team members, and senior leadership.

In 2020, Rodrigo worked as a Test & Evaluation Engineer Co-op at Emerson, where they tested and analyzed multiple units, produced successful published results, and executed a test on a new product development project projected to save the company $2 million annually. Rodrigo then transitioned to Pro Footballers Corp (PFC) as the Manager of Player Integration & Agent, overseeing player integration and acting as an agent until January 2022.

Currently, Rodrigo is working at Hartfiel Automation as an Outside Sales Engineer & BOSS Specialist, contributing to sales efforts and specializing in BOSS (Build Own, Sell Substantially) solutions. Prior to this role, they were an Outside Sales Engineer at the same company.

Rodrigo Balmaceda pursued their education at The Village High School from 2011 to 2015. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Dallas. From 2015 to 2020, Rodrigo worked diligently towards earning their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
