Allison Mortensen

Allison Mortensen serves as the Head of Multi-Asset Solutions, Managing Director, and Portfolio Manager at Hartford Funds since October 2015, overseeing target risk fund of funds and college savings 529 plans totaling over $5 billion across various asset classes. Prior to this role, Mortensen was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management from April 2004 to September 2015, focusing on global multi-asset class strategies and serving on the Pan-Alternatives Investment Committee. Mortensen's earlier experience includes a Vice President position in Quantitative Analysis & Research at Morgan Stanley Investment Management from 1994 to 2003, where original studies on equity investment strategies were conducted. Mortensen holds a BSBA in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business, earned in 1994.
