Barbara Pruitt

Barbara Pruitt, PMP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Manager of the PMO and Recon & Control Teams at Hartford Investment Management Co. since January 2012, Barbara oversees the daily operational and project functions for HIMCO Variable Insurance Trust. Prior roles include serving as AVP and Senior Project Manager at HIMCO, where leadership was provided for various projects across business and IT departments, and Project Manager II at The Hartford, managing a team for Retirement Plan Operations. Barbara began their career at Merrill Lynch / Advest, Inc., where as Vice President of Asset Management Operations & Technology, significant projects were led to support growth in a dynamic environment. Barbara holds a degree from the University of Rochester, earned between 1983 and 1987.
