Adam Boyles

Assistant Conductor at Hartford Symphony Orchestra

Boyles was appointed Assistant Conductor of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra in 2015. A dynamic and versatile conductor, he is a notable figure in the musical life of the Boston area. Boyles is currently Director of Orchestras at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Assistant Conductor of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Previous Music Director positions include six seasons with the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, three seasons with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, five seasons with Opera in the Ozarks, and five seasons with MetroWest Opera. Boyles served on the faculty at The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Arizona.
