Amanda Marx has extensive work experience in marketing and digital strategy. Amanda is currently working as the SVP Marketing, Digital Strategy & IT at HARTING since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President Marketing at Shift7 Digital from October 2020 to March 2023. Amanda also held various leadership positions at Life Fitness from 2015 to 2020, where they gained expertise in brand management, product marketing, sales operations, and strategic account management. Before that, they worked as the Global Digital Marketing Manager at AbbVie from 2013 to 2015 and as the Manager of Global Digital Marketing at Abbott Laboratories in 2012. Amanda started their career at Acquity Group in 2007, where they worked on various projects in business analysis, project management, and client management. Amanda also gained experience through an innovation internship at Medela, Inc. in 2006.
Amanda Marx has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. In 2013 to 2015, they took courses from Coursera. Additionally, they completed a program called altMBA in 2018. Amanda also obtained additional certifications, including one in Drug Discovery, Development & Commercialization from UC San Diego, and another in An Introduction to Marketing from Wharton.
