Björn Olbricht

Björn Olbricht serves as the Director of Innovation Hubs EMEA at HARTING Technology Group since November 2022, following a diverse and extensive career in the medical technology and innovation sectors. Previously, at Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne Ltd. from February 2019 to November 2022, Björn held multiple leadership roles including Head of the Swiss HealthTech Center and Head of Engineering, focusing on digital health and transformation in medtech, biotech, and pharma. Prior experience includes leading industrialization engineering at Forteq Nidau AG, and serving as Director of the Business Unit Biosurgery at Mathys Ltd Bettlach, where responsibilities encompassed business strategy, project leadership, and regulatory submissions for medical devices. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA with a focus on digital transformation from the University of Bern and a degree in materials science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, complemented by certifications in Lean Six Sigma and various quality management and project management trainings.
