Loran Newman

Loran Newman is a Senior Associate at Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture since May 2022, with prior experience as an Architect and Design Coordinator at Johnson Lasky Kindelin Architects. Loran has worked as an Architectural Designer at Valerio Dewalt Train and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, focusing on visualization studies, schematic design, and coordination with consultants. Loran contributed to a six-acre civic commons initiative in Detroit as a Graduate Student Research Assistant with Akoaki. Early career experience includes an internship at RAD Ltd. and a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Florida School of Architecture. Loran holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Florida.
