Mike Harwood is an experienced professional in project and manufacturing engineering management, currently serving as a Project Manager at Hartzell since June 2019, where responsibilities include managing capital projects across multiple business units. With a long tenure at Hartzell Air Movement since May 2001 as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Mike directs and coordinates the manufacturing engineering department's activities, collaborating closely with various functional leaders. Additionally, Mike had a brief assignment as Interim Plant Manager at Hartzell Veneer Products in late 2014, overseeing quality, safety, production, and operations. Prior experience includes serving as an OEM Specialist at a cutting tool company from 1999 to 2001, providing technical sales support. Mike's educational background includes studies at Kellogg Community College and Harper Creek, as well as the University of Dayton.
