Irene Ajagbe

Irene Ajagbe, PHR has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Irene currently serves as the Regional Director of Human Resources, Northeast at Harvard Maintenance, starting from May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director, Human Capital New York Regional Operations at MCR Hotels from October 2018 to March 2022. Irene also served as the Director of Human Resources at The TWA Hotel, a subsidiary of MCR Hotels, from October 2018 to March 2022. Before joining MCR Hotels, Irene worked at Marriott International as the Complex Director of Human Resources from April 2016 to October 2018. Irene started their career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. where they held various roles including Director of Human Resources from October 2014 to March 2016, Director of Human Resources from June 2011 to October 2014, Human Resources Manager from August 2007 to June 2011, and Human Resources Coordinator from March 2005 to August 2007. Irene Ajagbe, PHR, obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Brooklyn College from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Psychology at Manhattan College from 1999 to 2003. In addition, Irene holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, which they obtained from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2009. Irene also has a certification from the SHRM Executive Network Membership, obtained in April 2023.
