Carolyn Lau is currently an Associate at Harvard College Consulting Group, where Carolyn identifies strategic investment opportunities and leads a team of analysts. Carolyn is also an Associate Portfolio Manager at Harvard Smart Woman Securities and a Member of Harvard Financial Analysts Club. Additionally, Carolyn is involved in various leadership roles at Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business, Harvard Student Agencies, Harvard Undergraduate Women in Law Association, and the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School. Carolyn has a strong educational background in Economics and Government from Harvard University, and has also completed various programs in music performance.

Harvard Undergraduate Smart Woman Securities (SWS) aims to provide undergraduate women of all academic backgrounds and all career interests with investment knowledge. Founded in 2007, it is the first and largest finance organization for women at Harvard College. Through instructive seminars, mentoring initiatives, and meetings with industry leaders, SWS provides resources upon which women can build greater knowledge of financial markets. By giving women direct investment experience in college, SWS aims to empower a new generation of women investors for the future.
