Emily Gao

Emily Gao has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in different organizations. In 2021, they worked as a Data Science Intern at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where they analyzed algorithms for ptychography and reconstruction of nanomaterials and biomedical elements. In 2022, they interned at Jane Street as part of the WiSE program and also worked as a Machine Learning Programmer at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, where they helped design a machine learning algorithm for predicting turbulence in fusion plasma. In 2022, they also interned as a Data Analyst and Software Intern at SPICYEST - NFT Liquidity Startup. In 2023, they joined Harvard Venture Capital Group as a Sourcing Analyst and became a member of the Harvard Financial Analysts Club as an Investment Analyst. Emily also worked at Harvard Medical School as a Machine Learning and Software Researcher. Currently, they are a Principal and Diligence Analyst at Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners.

Emily Gao attended Marlboro High School from 2018 to 2022. Emily then went on to study Statistics and Computer Science at Harvard University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from 2022 to 2026.
