Anand Patel

Anand Patel is a Fellow in the Edward S. Mason Program in Public Policy and Management at Harvard University since June 2024. Prior to this, Anand served as Head of Policy Research at Edelman Global Advisory from November 2021 to June 2024, and as a member of the Task Force on Inclusive GVCs for Resilient Global Trade & Investment under the Business 20 (B20) Engagement Group for G20 India from January 2023 to September 2023. Anand's journalism career includes roles as Deputy Editor at India Today from March 2017 to November 2021, with a focus on national politics and policy, and as Bureau Chief for NDTV in Chandigarh from September 2006 to February 2017, leading a team of reporters. Anand holds multiple degrees, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Certificate in Producing Media against Radicalization from Radio Netherlands Training Center, a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University, and an MA in Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University, as well as a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Lucknow.
