Dee Thomas

Dee Thomas is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in food service management and kitchen operations. Currently serving as Chef De Cuisine at Harvard University since July 2010, Dee oversees the purchasing of supplies and ensures quality control of deliveries while managing substantial financial reporting and inventory reconciliation. Previous roles include Sous Chef at Chartwells Universities and General Manager positions at Compass Group North America and Rhythm & Spice Caribbean Restaurant, demonstrating strong leadership in menu development, budget management, and staff supervision. Dee's culinary education includes an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America and certifications in Information Technology Systems from Mattapan/Greater Boston Technology Learning Center, along with Hotel and Restaurant Management from Katharine Gibbs School.
