Heng Yang

Heng Yang is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Harvard University since August 2023. Previously, Heng Yang worked as a Research Scientist at NVIDIA from July 2022 to September 2023 and completed a PhD in Robotics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where participation in the SPARK Lab focused on optimization, computer vision, and robotics. Heng Yang holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Tsinghua University. Additional experience includes research internships at Intel Labs and Tesla, along with project management at BMW Group and early research efforts exploring insect behavior at Tsinghua University. Heng Yang has also volunteered for the APEC Business Advisory Council in 2014.
