Julie Wood

Julie Wood is an accomplished educational consultant and leader in literacy initiatives with extensive experience across various organizations. At Harvard University, Julie participates in the Harvard and the Legacy of Slavery Initiative and co-presides over the Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women, fostering connections and discussions around women's issues. As a Literacy Specialist at 9 Story Media Group and an Educational Consultant for the "Kid Correspondent" show on SoulPancake, Julie focuses on improving educational content for children. Julie also serves as President of the Dean's Advisory Board at UConn's Neag School of Education, is a Senior Literacy Advisor for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and founded TechnoTeaching, which aims to help educators integrate digital technologies. Additionally, Julie operates an international consulting business working with notable clients including PBS and Disney Interactive. Julie holds an Ed.M and Ed.D from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master's in Education from the University of Connecticut.
