Karen Valentía Clopton

Karen Valentía Clopton serves as General Counsel and Vice President of Access and Inclusion at INCENDIO INTERNATIONAL, INC., where responsibilities include leading legal counsel, advising management, negotiating contracts, and developing diversity and equity policies. Clopton is a Commissioner for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, appointed to advocate for civil rights and mediate discrimination complaints. As a Limited Partner at How Women Invest and a member of the DEI Advisory Council at Tia, Clopton actively promotes diversity and inclusion initiatives. Previously, Clopton held significant roles such as Chief Administrative Law Judge at the California Public Utilities Commission, General Counsel for the California Department of Corporations, and Chief of Operations at the Port of San Francisco. Clopton's academic background includes degrees from Vassar College and Antioch University School of Law, complemented by judicial training from the National Judicial College.
