Kate Penner

Kate Penner is an accomplished educator and professional dancer with extensive experience in mathematics and STEM mentorship. Since August 2010, Kate has held multiple roles at Harvard University, including Preceptor in Mathematics, Undergraduate Science Research Advisor, and Academic Coach, where responsibilities involve curriculum development, group programming, and individualized coaching for undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, Kate serves as Social Media Manager for the Vail Dance Festival while pursuing a career as a freelance professional ballet dancer. Previous roles include faculty at Boston Ballet School and Assistant Merchant at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Kate holds an Ed.M. in Specialized Studies from Harvard Graduate School of Education and an AB in Government from Harvard University.
