Laura Barnes is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health since June 2024, Laura has held key roles at institutions such as the Nantucket Historical Association, White House Historical Association, and Villanova University, where responsibilities included directing development efforts and managing significant gifts. With a career beginning in alumni relations at Boston University, additional experience spans various leadership positions in development at prominent universities including Stanford and the University of Southern California.
