Scott Hughes

Scott Hughes is a data integration manager at Harvard University since April 2023, previously serving as a digital asset intern at NFPA and holding multiple roles at Fidelity Investments, including principal and senior database engineer, and senior software engineer. Scott has extensive experience in building data lakes in AWS, database population, and application development using a variety of technologies such as Java, Springboot, and Snowflake. Earlier career milestones include positions as a lead systems analyst at John Hancock Life Insurance Company and a programmer analyst at Putnam Investments, where Scott contributed to significant application rewrites and system upgrades. Scott holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Syracuse University and a BA in Computer Science with Math from Saint Anselm College.
